Spanish Civil War print culture

Via wrongdistance.com I came to know ‘Magazines & War’, an amazing website that studies the role of artists in Spanish Civil War magazines.

This website was created to allow visitors to virtually browse — in great detail and in color — 30 selected individual magazine issues [...]. In addition to providing a summary of each of these magazines, the site includes a description of the project, indices of the magazine displayed and links to research resources.

Definitely worth looking!
